Well Spring Break ‘07 is finally upon us. I am busy working a business startup on my days off from the fire station. Gwenn is planning an enjoyable�week with her favorite student, Mr. Bryce. Amy Jo is gone to Mexico on a mission trip with a couple of FBCRH Youth. We hope that they have a great time and are given the opportunity to share the love of God.

For those of you that don’t know, Amy Jo lived with Gwenn and I during the Summer of ‘03 while serving as the interim music director at Oak Grove Baptist Church. While here, she found the love of her life, David Rice, and they got married last summer, and now serve as the Student Ministry Directors at FBCRH.

Congratulations to Stan Smith - Driver, B Shift, for his recent promotion to Fire Marshal! Stan’s uncanny ability to stir up hate and discontent will be missed, but I am sure it will surface again when we least expect it.

B Shift staffing at 10 was short lived, but for historical records we have photo proof that once we were 10, but again we are 9.

Received word on Monday from a good friend that his mother passed away. In my profession, you see death quite often, but when it happens to someone close to you it serves as a simple reminder that we all could be just a breath away from our eternal destiny. Our prayers go out to Chuck A. and his family! Remember to tell your family and friends that you love them - Hey! Family and Friends, I love you!
